Another deadly virus, found after Coronavirus in China, is becoming Trend (Hantavirus)
Corona virus originating from China is currently widespread worldwide. More than 15,000 people worldwide have been infected with the virus, and while no drug is yet to be found, China has discovered another new virus. A person has died from a Hantavirus on Monday in China's Yunnan province. Currently the virus is also trending in Google.
According to information available, the person who died from the Hanta virus was coming to Shandong while his Hanta virus was positive. Later, 32 people were also examined in the bus. China's government news agency Global Times has reportedly been hit on social media after the incident.
How spread is Hantavirus
According to Experts, the Hanta virus is not as deadly as the Corona virus. Unlike the corona it does not propagate through the air. It can spread by exposure to mice or squirrels. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, mice are at risk of contracting the Hanta virus. Even a healthy person can be infected if they are exposed to the Hanta virus.
These symptoms occur in an infected person
The Hanta virus does not pass from person to person. But if a person touches his eyes, nose or mouth after touching a rat's feces, urine, the risk of transmission of the Hanta virus increases. When infected with this virus, a person experiences symptoms like cold, headache, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea. If the infected person is delayed in treatment, the lungs get filled with water and breathe difficulty.
What is the percentage of infected person's death?
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Hanta virus is fatal. The mortality rate for infected persons is 38%.
